I'm the person who makes the meeting shorter, the decision clearer, and the follow-up actually happen.
Specialists see parts. I see systems — the business, the product, the people, the market, all moving at once — and I can tell you which piece is about to break before it does.
That's what a decade inside a Big 6 consulting firm and years running my own ventures actually taught me: frameworks don't run companies, judgment does. Most of what looks like a strategy problem is really just nobody being willing to make the call.
I do my best work close to the people carrying the weight — CEOs, founders, boards — usually right when the business is changing faster than anyone can explain it.

One of the Big 6
Over a decade there, I worked both sides — advising from the outside and stepping in as embedded leadership across strategy, product, and operations, during turnarounds, across 15+ companies and 9 industries. That's where I learned the difference between advice someone can ignore and decisions someone has to live with.

Founder and CEO
I've also been on the other side of the table — building and running ventures myself, making the calls a founder has to make when there's no one else to make them. Turns out most strategy problems are really judgment problems.

Partner at WeVang
Today I'm a partner at WeVang, working two ways: through Alliances, where I step in as embedded / fractional leadership — Chief of Staff, COO, whatever the room needs — inside companies that need someone at the table, not outside advising it; and through Journeys, guiding founders from early direction to market leadership.
